Rescue techniques: Basic rescue procedures for assisting a fellow freediver.
Equipment familiarization: Understanding and using essential freediving equipment, such as masks, snorkels, fins, and wetsuits.
Freediving physiology and safety: Knowledge of how the body responds to freediving and essential safety guidelines.
Our beginner freediving course typically spans 4 days, with a combination of classroom sessions, pool training, and open water dives. The specific schedule will be provided upon registration, but generally, you can expect:
Day 1: Classroom and shallow pool session
Day 2: Classroom and deep pool session

Day 4: Open water session and final assessment
Pool Sessions
The pool sessions will be conducted in the Klang Valley, usually in Mont’ Kiara, Subang or Shah Alam.
Open Water Sessions
Open water dives are usually conducted at Pulau Tenggol or Pulau Bidong (meal and lodging not included in course fee).
Students can also choose to train in Tasik Saujana Putra (no additional cost).
In the beginner course, the maximum depth for open water dives is 20 meters (65 feet).
However, the minimum required depth to pass this course is 10 meters (33 feet). This depth is ideal for building confidence and practicing fundamental freediving techniques in a controlled environment.
We maintain a small student-to-instructor ratio of 4:1 to ensure personalized attention, individualized feedback, and a safe learning environment.
